1. Tell us about your family. (Spouse/Partner and Children) - Wife- Nancy  retired from Bridge City ISD in 2011.  She was an Art Teacher and Counselor Daughter - Meredith - graduated from BCHS in 2004


2. Describe your Education and or certification and licensing (Degree, License, Certification, etc) - BS Secondary Education Lamar University in 1962 with Math & Science Certification MEd Education Administration Stephen F. Austin University 1967


3. Tell us about your current career (employment). What should be we know about your career? What has your career path been like? How did you end up where you are? What are some skills or lessons learned at BCHS that have served you well in your career? - My wife and I currently live in College Station where we moved after retirement and rebuilding after Hurricanes Rita and Ike. I began my teaching career in 1962 at Bridge City ISD teaching Math & Science at BCHS.  I became the HS Assistant Principal in 1967 then the HS Principal in 1976.  I later became the Assistant Superintendent for Administrative Services in 1986.  I served in this position until I retired in 2010.  I spent 48 years employed in the Bridge City ISD.


4. What was your overall BCHS experience like? - Fantastic times and accomplished many educational achievements. Assisted in the planning and building of Bridge City Elementary, Bridge City Intermediate,  renovating of Bridge City Middle, Bridge City High School, and Athletic Facilities.


5. What person, class, or experience most impacted/influenced you while at BCHS? - My educational career serving with fellow administrators Dr. E. E. Sims, Eldon Shipp, Bill Godwin, Glenn Pearson, Randy Arnaud, Jim Aarons, Al Gore, R. B. Withers, Roger Russell, Helen Phillips, Weldon Lack
