1. Tell us about your family. (Spouse/Partner and Children) - No family other than immediate family.
2. Describe your Education and or certification and licensing (Degree, License, Certification, etc) - MBA candidate, MSW (LCSW in the State of Texas - therapist), MA in Spirituality, MA in Theology, BA in Philosophy, Certification of Fluency in the Spanish Language
3. Tell us about your current career (employment). What should be we know about your career? What has your career path been like? How did you end up where you are? What are some skills or lessons learned at BCHS that have served you well in your career? - My career path has been a winding road. I work as a therapist in an extensive pediatric system, Texas Children's, and a therapist at an OCD and anxiety clinic. I specialize in executives and people in leadership struggling with anxiety and work-life balance. The lesson that served me the most at BCHS is that you can be successful despite a lack of direction and that at times, you have to find your way despite the lack of assistance in helping discern what you would like to do.
4. What was your overall BCHS experience like? - I had great times in high school.
5. Do you have a fond or specific memory(ies) you would like to share? - I have many fond memories especially funny moments in band and cutting up with others.
6. What person, class, or experience most impacted/influenced you while at BCHS? - The person who most influenced me and the class were Linda Gunn and her English class. She was interested in preparing us for waiting for us in college and expressed concern for us as students.
7. Do you have any hobbies/side projects you would like to tell us about? - I have a bull terrier named Crispy and I love to read and cook.
8. What are some life lessons you would like to share with the current Cardinals? - Persevere and think big!
9. Did you participate in any clubs, activities or organizations while at BCHS? If so, which ones were you involved in and did you have a leadership role? - VP of Student Council and president of my Catholic youth group.
10. What do you love about being a BCHS Alumni? - I have made many friends over the years. I still know where everyone is in my first-grade group picture. I am so appreciative of the friends I made and still have.
11. Any advice to "younger" alumni and or future alumni- those just starting out in life? - Aim big and persevere, even through difficult times and think "outside the box".
12. Anything you'd like to add that we missed? - I am happy to be connected with Bridge City and have the fondest and greatest memories of growing up there.
