IN REMEMBRANCE

Linda Diane (Parker) Koonce, age 74, of Frisco, passed away on Friday, November 17, 2023. She was born on September 15, 1949, in Beaumont, Texas, to Lois Olive (Richardson) and Wayne Gregory Parker. Linda earned bachelor's degrees in Journalism and Nursing and had a successful career as a registered nurse,
health care administrator, and columnist. She married Curtis R. Koonce in Beaumont on August 18, 1990. Linda enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and keeping in touch with her life long friends. She was a loving sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many. Linda was dearly loved and will be
greatly missed by all those who knew her. Linda is survived by her daughter, Amanda Farrar and her husband, Chris, of Frisco; her grandchildren, Hannah Farrar, Abby Farrar, William Farrar; daughter-in-law Shannon Dearing and grandsons Phineas Dearing, and Brock Dearing; her brother, Robert Parker and
his wife, Peggy of Bridge City, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Curtis Koonce, and her son, Davy
Dearing. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
