Kent Dewayne Brown, 65, of Kountze, died Wednesday April 30, 2025. He was born on November 10, 1959, in Port Arthur, to Betty Janell Fitzgerald Reeves and O.D. Brown.
Survivors include his children, Tarah Tumlinson and her husband, Charlie, of Kountze; Joshua Brown and his wife, Melanie, of Beaumont; and David Beadle and his wife, Tracy; grandchildren, Michael Brown and his wife, Claire, of Alaska; Abigail Brown, Audrey Brown, Lydia “JoJo” Brown, and Thomas Brown, all of Beaumont; Micah Sanchez and Gabriel Sanchez, both of Evadale; siblings, Kathy Gray; and Robb Starr and his wife, Laurie, of Lumberton; and half-sister, Shelley Waddell of Groves.
He is preceded in death by his father, O.D. Brown; mother, Janell Reeves and her husband, Gayle Reeves; and brother, Kim Brown.
A gathering of Mr. Brown’s family and friends will begin at 12:00 p.m., with his funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 9, 2025, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. His interment to follow at Pedigo Cemetery, Town Bluff.
