Date of Passing:

Jeannine Fair Peveto, age 57 of Orange, Texas passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 in Beaumont, Texas.

On Friday, May 10, 1968, Jeannine was born to Clifford and Jackie Fair in Port Arthur, Texas. She grew up in Bridge City and graduated from Bridge City High School.

Jeannine was a God-following mother, Mimi, pet lover, and good friend. Jeannine loved creating meaningful moments with those she loved and going the extra mile. She took pride in showing up for family, friends, animals, and even a stranger. She would be the one that always bought you a thoughtful gift, or took a picture of you even if you didn't want to. She enjoyed music, dancing, laughing until she cried, and spending time in nature. She got her love for seafood honestly and no distance was too far to drive to buy a jar of pickles or eat her favorite meal. If she was still here with us she would say her greatest accomplishments were her kids and the thing that brought her the most joy was being a Mimi to her grandkids.

Jeannine will forever be remembered and dearly missed by her daughter, Shantel and husband Dru Crochet; son, Seth Peveto; grandchildren, Keegan and Kymbree Crochet; sister, April and husband Michael Gault; her fiancé, Joe Rising; and sweet puppy dog, Keesha. We will remember her every time we see a beautiful butterfly or sunflower.

Jeannine is preceded in death by her parents and other relatives.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Humane Society of Southeast Texas.

Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Cowboy Church of Orange, 673 FM 1078 Orange, Texas.

Cremation was entrusted to Dorman-Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home.
