In Loving Memory of Darrell Gurney We hold space with heavy hearts and deep gratitude as we honor the life and legacy of Darrell Gurney, a beloved Essence of Being graduate, trainer, and longtime member of our Healing Forest and dear friend. Darrell was more than a student of life; he was a guide, a light, and a leader who touched countless lives through his wisdom, heart, and service. He served as one of our Essence of Being Coaching Program trainers and embodied the principles of conscious leadership in every room he entered. I had the profound honor of marrying Darrell and his incredible wife, Alexandra . . . an unforgettable moment in this soul’s beautiful journey. We first met in San Diego for a retreat, and that started our journey from Essence of Being to Mastery to Conscious Leadership Academy to our deep connection and marrying Alexandra and Darrell 6 years ago. Darrell made his transition recently, following a quiet and private path of healing. In Alexandra’s words, he chose to walk this final part of his journey in peace, asking for privacy and trusting his process. While there will be no public memorial, we invite you to hold him in your hearts, and if you pray, please offer a prayer for his continued journey beyond the veil and Alexandra's heavy heart that she may feel grace. He has graduated and will be in our hearts forever. We will always remember your generous spirit, wild sense of humor, and your love for humanity. You made a huge difference to so many people. There are 100,000 angels by your side! Darrell, we thank you. We love you. And we will carry your essence with us in every circle, every breath, and every moment of awakening.
