Board Member

Eric Andrus

Eric's commitment to the community is evident in his extensive involvement. Following in the footsteps of his grandfather at Central Office Supply (now COS Printing), he has been a key figure in various community organizations. He served as the Bridge City Chamber of Commerce president and has earned the Business of the Month award multiple times. His dedication was further recognized when he was named Citizen of the Year. Eric also served as a Bridge City Councilman from 2011 to 2019.

Eric has been a member of the Bridge City/Orangefield Rotary Club since 2007 and is a past president. He received their Paul Harris Fellow Award, Distinguished Spotlight Award, Rotarian of the Year, and Roll of Fame Award. He also received the Bridge City Masonic Lodge Community Builders Award. Most recently, Eric was named Bridge City's Fathy of the Year in 2024.

In Eric’s spare time, he enjoys building things by hand, going on adventures with his wife, Caitlin, and traveling with his wife and beautiful daughter, Diana. Eric's personal life is a testament to his values and the importance he places on family. He married Caitlin Jennifer Leigh Herman on October 17, 2015, and they have a beautiful daughter, Diana. Caitlin, who graduated from Orangefield High School and Lamar University, now works at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. Eric is a 2001 BCHS Graduate, and his personal experiences in Art, Theater, and Graphic Design have shaped his commitment to the community.

Eric’s giving heart, amazing talent, and eye for the business community of Bridge City will be another GREAT addition to the BCHS Alumni Foundation.
